Last Day of STCC 2008
As mentioned in my previous blog, I will be going to the Singapore Toy and Comic Convention aka STCC 2008 after have submitted my piece for the Heeren Privilege Card. After submitting it, I felt kinda a relax although the thought of if I am make keep passing though my mind. Well, no nid to keep bothering about it though, as I just did it for fun so its the experience that matters.
Immediately hop on a bus and went to the venue for the STCC 2008. Was very much packed as usual but since today is the last day of the convention, most of the items have been slash to have of the usual price though and I have gotten to see lots of creators and artists as well as cosplay ppl. Speaking of cosplay, I must say that they are very pro and din know that there are so many cosplay ppl. Some are very sexy and some are well about there though.
Did I mentioned in the blog yesterday that I have met Jingna whose one of the very first deviant art ppl that have been keeping close track of her pictures since I started joining that website. She is so much different from the way that I imagine her to be but the Gothic part is sure the same.
Took some pictures though, and also bought some stuff.
Also saw something that I have never seen before as I did not have any interest in it until my lecturer mentioned to me, which is Wacom. I think some of you IT ppl should know this product as it is mostly used by anime or graphic artist to do their art piece.

A Gathering Day
Today is the day of my poly gathering which I have always been looking forward to attend.
Sadly to say that this is the only group of friends that I have been hanging out with ever since my poly days. A group of friends which I feel comfortable with especially talking about the things that is happening around them or the status of them.
Its funny to see them having some kind of changes be it their working life, relationship, etc.
Went to Azabu Sabo for the gathering, its a dessert shop although they do sell set meals. Frankly speaking I prefer their dessert to the meal.
Some pic i took using the faulty phone I have.
This is the pic of the dessert that I take. It is something like shave ice topped with vanilla ice cream with chocolate dressing and Bananas something which I adore.
This are my "sisters" whom I got to know during the poly days.
All are attached and engaged sad to say. 1 of them is getting married at the end of this year, which is another gathering for us. Looking forward to that day though. I want to wish them all the best to them and may happiness be with them always.

This is a grp of artist who did alot of fantastic art piece. Will be going back tomorrow to get their limited edition art book.
Tomorrow is the last day though. Hope there are sales.

A Fruitful Day
This is the Cresyn SC-HP500.
This brand maybe new to me and maybe not for some of those who are into gadgets. For me I only know of Audio Technica, Shure, Bosse, and some of those major/popular brands.
Today I have alot of new things be it driving or air brushing my tank model.
Although driving lesson is quite standard but to me I tend to feel that each lesson is unique and I will be able to learn more things in preparation for my test which is in Sept. Learn to handle the airbrush as well as the technique in doing it as well as to know the different tones to the tank.
Although it has not been completed but the result of my airbrushing is still acceptable though. Some pic of the tank that I had done, it has not been completed as I have yet done the wheels and the tracks.
But I am happy with the work that I have done. Will be continuing to do things like these for my hobbies. But I still have the passion for design although I have met an obstacle recently with my homework for one of the modules, but I hope that I will be able to do it.

A day before friday
Have been very very busy lately.
Be it going to gym for my regular workout, going to Jurong Island for work or doing the homework for the diploma course. Although it is very tiring and stress, I do find interest in them which is the funny part, guess that I have the passion for the things that I am doing now.
Time really flows like the current of the stream, now it is coming to the end of the month, which means something, the end of the school holidays for the students, payday which is common for all working adults, the start of a new semester for some post grad students while some maybe the start of a new career. Whichever it may be, I wish all the ppl luck and be happy and have the passion for what you are currently doing now.

Working in this attire is no fun at all, and beside working has never been fun especially you have to go to Jurong Island to work.
Just finished my Sketch Art class, and today we did model sketching which is to me a very tough module. Since the lecturer cannot get a model for the still life drawing, 1 of us have to volunteer to be the model. So I volunteered, and I was requested to sit down and still for 20 mins. And my lecturer demo to the rest how the drawing was done. Upon completion, I got to keep the sketch, will be uploading it soon.
Guess I really have to spend more time on practicing my sketch although I admit that I have not been practicing.
Well, have to rest soon as I have to go to Jurong Island again tomorrow.
