Something to Ponder

Has been a while since I last updated my blog.
Many things had happened since then.
As usual have been very busy with my part time school work, job, driving lessons and most important is the Vitamin M.
Guess most of you should know what is the definition, but for those who do not know what is it, the definition of vitamin M is money.
Well, everything need that and I think I have been using that very fast.
Things have to be bought as I need that for my studies. Recently got to know that for the photography lessons, we are required to use a DSLR either to be rented or owned.
I have a DSLR which is a semipro but it is not wised to used it therefore I have to go and get a 2nd hand. Got to know this professional photographer through my colleague and went with him down to his friend's shop to look at some 2nd hand cameras. Found a Nikon D70s DSLR which is in good condition and is recommended by him to get it as only through friends will the owner of the shop take out the cameras whereby the owner keep them in good condition.
Having found a camera which I like and of a good bargain, I said yes. I know that I should have waited for a while before buying it. But was afriad that good bargain like this will not come along as such. Well, I guess will have to stop buying extra things already after i have bought this and the folio which is going to be used for the submission of the assignment for the Sketch Art.
Iris has came to Singapore in pursue of her Masters in Bio Medical which is the course that she has interest in. Was very happy and glad that she is able to be admitted to NTU. Having said this, the documents required from the Australian Uni was not in order and the original will only be send over in Aug. Now just have to wait for the sch of NTU to reply if they are able to let her study while waiting for the original to be send over. Having printed out the results slip from her student virtual and submitted to NTU, will have just to wait for them to reply by this coming week.
I am starting to feel the stress, confused and pressure.

Have did some sketches to clear my mind but guess it is not working out.
The pressure is still there.
Whats the use of talking to the ppl when I will blew my temper. I have to put on a mask to show that I am fine but will that help?
I still feel terrible and miserable.
I feel very tired stress.

Another Day

Well, haven been updating on what I have been dong for a while now.
Well basically is still the same usual routine of work study gym and car.
Work going over to jurong island to check the site and also to take down notes of what are the changes that is done. Work also means to stay in the office and to draw and type and also to rest.

Study is basically attending lesson from 7 to 10 and reaching home at around 11 plus. Also to focus on the assignment and the final project that is due in like 2 weeks times. It can be said long and short. Long in the sense of the days but short in the sense that there is not much time on the hand to do it in another words means lazy lor.

Gym and car are the area to relax and to de-stress.

Well just completed my dreamweaver course which is on sat and sun meaning that my weekend was burn.
Guess I have to stop here as I am starting to get sleepy and also I am thinking whether to do my assignment.

Sketch Class in Chinatown

Today went for a outdoor sketch class.
Was an experience that I would not forget and will do again.
Above was the 2 sketch i did during the entire 3-4hrs.
Pathetic. Ha ha ha.
Other classmates of mine did alot. Guess I am not that standard yet.
Well have to keep practicing on top of the deadline of the assignments and the final project which will be due in 3 weeks time.

Movies

Above is the Movie entitled: "Wanted"
Went to watch it on a saturday. It was so cool and very unrealistic but being the fact that most movie are built around the area of that its very nice. Like the design of the weapon, tattoo on Angelina Joline, the story line and the effects that is done in the movie.
The storyline is somewhat a bit confusing to me that is. But some how from what i understand from seeing that is it revolves around this guy who seems to be the sons of a famous assassin.
Overall I like this movie, but I really like the structure of the bullets that is being used.
Great movie, but once watch it do not have the desire to watch it again.

Another movie which I have watched. This one was with my family. This was the one movie that I was so touched that I drop tears while watching it. It is about the promises that was made to a puppy by a small little girl.
The girl's mother had cancer and made her daughter to made the 10 promises to the small puppy that she got. Below is the 10 commandments made by the girl.

Plainsunset @ HMV

This is the local band which I came to knew about when I started my course in Multimedia and Communication Design. Have always knew that there are local bands but just that not very into them, as I am not that into the rock and loud music. But after hearing to some of the songs by this band, kinda enjoy their music.
So Keep up the good work guys.
Looking forward for your new album.

Another Day of Sat.

Today is the Saturday after the TGIF. For those who do not know what does TGIF means its Thank God Its Friday. Ha ha ha just a phrase I heard from a friend of mine.
Well, the week had been a very busy and tiring one. Towards the end of the wee, I had to go to Jurong Island unexpectedly to do some site works. Again have to sweat and sun tan but its my job anyway.
Have been reading up the Imagine Art Book which I have bought during the STCC aka Singapore Toys and Comic Convention last weekend. Was one hell of a convention, guess will be looking forward for event like this already. Speaking of which there is this event which I just went today.

It is similar to that of the STCC but just more concentrating on the Cosplay and some of the artist who were at the STCC as well. Went today and finally met Jingna who was at the STCC 08. Got her book and was autographed by her. Was so glad that was able to see her in person although most of the time is just the pics she post on her blog. I took a pic of her with her assistant but my phone is not that good in quality the image was kinda dark but uploaded anyway.


Started to follow on her news since Dec 6, 2007 which was also the day I become a member of deviantart. Happen to came across her photographs which she took and was so unique that started to become a fan of her.

At the Cosfest, as what the name implies revolve round the cosplay and things related to anime, comic. Was surprise to see that there is also a group of ppl who are into these as cosplay is more popular outside singapore. But can proud to say that the ppl at the fest was pretty good.
