Photographer?

Been busy with work until I am quite sick and tired.
As you know that I have been taking photography and I have tried different types of photography to see which is the area which I like to do and practice more.
Current doing landscape, scenery and portrait.
Portrait is recently which I did a photo shoot for my army friends and today which i joined an outdoor photography trip.
The exposure was terrific.
Joining these trip really broaden my eye and knowledge. See how the photographer shoot and the way that they ask the models to pose and how they use their equipments.
Attended another class outdoor.
During the photoshoot of my army friend my lecturer came along and guide me along.
I really learned alot and make me wan to venture into this field.

Spent the whole Sunday walking around the small like town of Bintulu.
It seems like the town is busiest in the morning but dies down as the sun goes down.
Since there is no work on Sunday, I guess is a perfect day for the family to gather and go out for shopping and having meals together for family ties.
Was an eye opener for me when I entered the wet market. It was very organized as the place was seperated into fish section and the vegetable sections. In my mind, I thought that everything will be cluster together regardless of the type of food or races. But there is actually a chinese market and a malay market which practically sells things that are similar with both cater for more of the similar races.
The most interesting thing is that at a park behind the only chinese temple, vendors are selling fighting rooster. Something which have never seen before.
Went to the local shopping centre were pirates ship stormed the whole shopping centre.
Was tempted by the pirates therefore joined them by purchasing their loots. Gosh, I am one of their accomplice.
Back at the hotel wanted to try out the loot just to find that the laptop could not read.
Wanting to go back to the pirate hoping for an exchange of loot but my manager took the loot and slot it into his laptop and it can read perfectly.
Retried again and this time using another method to read the loot it works.
And enjoyed the loot perfectly.
Thus the day ended so quickly and soon by the time I open my eyes will be the start of the new day and back to work.

Days in Bintulu

Good Day to all

I know that I have not been updating this blog of mine for a very long time.
All of you must be thinking that I am a very lazy person. But well, tats me.
I know a blog is something similar to that of a personal dairy but for this case is online where ppl can view. OK Ok enough of this blabbering back to proper.

On Monday, I and my manager went to Bintulu, Sarawak to calibrate and setup a new system at Petanak. Petanak is a company that manufacture glue and adhesives. Seems like this industry is still in high demand.

Well, according to the schedule I will be here for 2 week which means that i will be leaving this place on Friday.
Argh another few more days to go.
HOpe that everything will be going very well for these few days.
I think the ppl here really have no life except for those who like to drink. There are so many pubs and pubs and pubs. Some may like to go to cyber cafe or play snooker. I heard from the workers that there are ppl who are being killed. So scary.

Another Week

Hi there.
Has been a long time since I have updated here.
Can see that I am a very very lazy person.
Well, some updates then.
The week before I went to Tioman with a special someone.
Just wan to spend some time with her together for a few days, although I do meet her every sat.
I know that things will change when the time comes for her to go back to her home country when she finishes her studies and unable to obtain a job here.
Having to remember this made me thinking to have some happy moments with her not in Singapore but somewhere quiet peaceful and to have a view of the sunset.
Then Tioman came up and we went. The place was so quiet, peaceful and sunny. Practically uninterrupted by any vehicles. Is a good place to sit back and relax and enjoy the splashing of the waves. Just one thing, its hot. BUt is worth it.

Came back to reality and last week was a damned sad/moody/gloomy week.
Being said by others that taking silhouette pictures are very easy and nothing new. Having heard this made me wonder, is it taking those pic really that simple and that everyone can do it?
Makes me wonder my direction of photography. They even say that i take nothing else by sunset. Is like wasting my money to go there just to take sunset and nothing else.
Being said by my boss that he doubt i will read things that he send to me. Frankly speaking I dun, cos i am also busy doing my school work. Sometimes i really dun wan to read the stuff that he send to me.
Read who also know how to read, but i just cannot understand. He wont teach just use his mouth to speak and speak. NOT everyone has the same brain power as he has. I for instance is bad in studying. I have a bad memory and no initiative ok.
Dun treat me like i know everything , if you dun wan to tell me wat to do then dun tell me.
I am not a good reader as I will doze off after the first page. Sometimes I rather I am just an assistant not an engineer, but for the future i have to.
Labour met up with girl and went around to walk and also shop around.
BOught a Givenchy perfume for mother as an early mother day gift.
NOthing much done, except for buy eat walk sit. Ha ha ha ha
Sat went to work in the late morning till early afternoon and then met up with girl. Bought a cheap eyore which was her fav plush toy. After which we met up with my poly gangs for gathering. Had dinnder at Shokudo at CIty hall after which we proceed to Coffee CLub at millinium walk for tea.
After which at around 11plus we left the place and headed home. Did not send her back as there might not have the train for me to go back if were to send her. Then parted at city hall mrt and reach home at past midnight. Yup train and bus. But forgotten to pass her back her phone and today went to pass her and have lunch with her before proceeding to national library to do my research on my project.
And thats the week been for me.

A Saturday

Hi there ppl,

Its a damn hot Saturday for me.
Why is the weather tat freaking hot?
Well, today meet up with Girl after 2 weeks.
Woah her hair has grown so much since then, maybe its time for a hair cut?
But she say is long enough to tie them up like a bun.
Well, met her for lunch. Today is the first time that I ate my food that slow. Even she also noticed that, well tats because we are talking most of the time while eating the meal. Was telling her about the trip to Redang. You ppl should know bout it right.......... oh dun shake that head of yours. Telling her about the sunburn, the interesting things that happen during the trip. Even talked about how sea sick I was while sitting the ferry to Redang. So malu.
Well seems that she also have been ages since she sat on a boat. She is wondering if she can take it for the future trip that required her to be on a ferry.
Now is the midst of her exam, I wish her good luck and pass with flying colour. I noticed that today, we talked alot more than usual over a meal. Maybe is because there is interesting things that happened and able to talk about it.
The funny part is that during the journey to meet her, I was running late so i assume that I maybe able to bump into her on the train while reaching the destination. And true enough, she board the train at the location which I knew she would. Upon see her at the platform, I move to the carriage which she will be stepping into. The moment she stepped in she saw me, and was quite shocked. Seeing her smile, and her messy hair due to the wind. At that moment she looked like she has been studying so hard that the hair was messy and uncombed.
After the lunch, walked around and bought some groceries. Carried back to her place and went off to Bugis where the National Library was located.
Doing a research on Tattoo for my project by my part time course. This is the last semester of my course though and yah this can be considered my final project. Sad and Malu to say that this is the first time I step into the library from the last project thesis that i have to do for my project in Australia.
And sad to say that all my books are in the reference section which means that I am unable to borrow them out. I din even know that I am not allowed to bring writing materials into the library. What is this rule. No paper but laptop.
Well, went in found the book and used the small pieces of paper that is found at the computer for us to search for the book that we want.
Read and took some small notes and bang i shoot off the place like a bullet. Have to go back again with my Lappie.
Wat an Experience.
Sad thing is that I have send in my fossil watch for repair due to the chain gave way. At that time, the girl at the service centre told me that they will have to contact the HQ if the chain is still obtainable, so I agreed to leave it there and allow them to call me to pick it up. After like 3 months, they called me which is like 2 days ago. Was hoping that the watch can be repaired but they told me that the chain was out of production and could not be repaired. Upon hearing this, I felt very moody as that was the fav watch. :(
So today while was at Bugis Junction, went to G-shock to look at the one watch which caught my attention. It was the watch that was use to promote the redbull race. Cannot see the name of the model though. It was so perfect except for the price of it, about 400. Staring at the price and the watch, I reluctantly left the shop.
Guess will have to stick do with the current watch I am wearing. Very light as compared to ny fav watch.

No $$
have to save. yah an all in the insurance company as i have signed up for the saving plan.
If only I can get some cash out from them to buy that watch. ( I think is Mission impossible)

Well, guess will have to see me wearing it in my dreams then.

A pic from Redang

Trip to Redang

Hi ppl,

Back from my trip to Redang from wednesday nite till yesterday.
It was both a happy and sad trip.
Happy in the way that I got to take a rest, outing to the place that I have been to again but with my trustee DSLR, accompany by friends. Sad is that shoots taken are not that fantastic, sun burnt. Now my back is an exact replica of the back of a steamed lobster, "RED".
The day that we reach Kuala Trengganu it was raining heavily. Waiting for the agent to arrive to pass us the tickets for the ferry to Redang Beach Resort, the place that we will be staying. Finally the hour came for us to board the ferry. Board the ferry and was disturbed by a gang of JB Ah Bengs and Lians. Speaking loudly singing out loud. That was ok, the most furstrating things was that 1 of them owns a Canon 50D DSLR. I was feeling unjustice for that camera, from the way that he is holding it, the shots he take. Argh damn, I think a compact camera will be fine for him. but what the hack, he is rich I can conclude.
A 2 hrs ferry trip to the island, and to think that I am ok with the sea sick thingy. Wrong, i am not, feel naueous. Started to breath deeply. Soon reach the transit point, where we have to transfer to a smaller ferry in.
In the rough sea, the small ferry made the way to the island. Checked in, and had out lunch before waiting patiently for the announcement to be made for the snorkeling activity to begin. Praying so hard and sincere that the weather will be fine for the activity. And truely enough at 2.30pm the annoucement was broadcast, like children going to the playground, with high spirits we marched down to the snorkeling centre to get the equipments and listen to the briefing by the staff, KAI. A very funny and tanned guy.
The first sentence that came out was"Today arrival guest piss come here." The malaysian slang, and the action made the tensed atmosphere loosen up. There one things that he said" If you lose the snorkeling mask it cost Ringgit 100 only, the life vest, Ringgit 100 only, breathing tube, Ringgit 100.......", you guessed it ONLY. Imgaine saying that with the particular malaysian english slang and you will be laughing.

FInally the word that all of us there were waiting for, "Today Arrival Guest Piss board the blue ship". Orderly we proceed to the boat, and the snorkeling adventure begins.
Diving into the clear bluegreen ocean, like entering another world of garden. The view of the corals were magnificant. Me and a friend was surrounded by a school of needle fish. Circling round us, what a view. Too bad, do not have the underwater camera. The divers, brought out a sea cucumber the length of my arm and the size of my fist.
Throughout the 3 days 2 nites, was nothing but eat and snorkeling. I think I have grown fat and worst SUNBURNT.
Ouch Ouch Ouch.
Well, it was worth the sunburnt to see such beautiful views.
The most happy thing was that I saw the sunrise. The anticipating for the rays of the suns to greet u on the face was just stunning. Nite was also stunning, clear blue sky lit up by the moonlight. Rays of the moonlight reflected on the calm sea, with occasional waves. Peace in the nite, but that was when there is no beach party blasting with the loud techno, pop, rNb music and especially the MACARANA Dane redang Style.
Its really a very romantic place at night. In the morning, when the activity has yet started it is a moment of peace and tranquility.

What a week it has been.
Raining sunny raining again sunny again.
Back to going to gym and Man do I feel good when I go to gym.
Torturing myself, working out, sweating as if I just came out from the shower, its good.
A way to de-stress myself.
Counting down the days to the my first trip back to a place that I have been too during my poly days, and unfortunately I fell sick there. Horrible and could not enjoy much.
But this time round, hell am I going to get sick. Happy with a bit of disappointment. Happy yes going on vacation, disappointment having to miss the Macro Shoot outing by Singapore Photographers. And my lecturer is tempting me by saying all the pics taken that day will be posted up, with all those magnificent pics, close up views/shoots. Argh I am tempted.
Consoling myself, I have to buck up on the shoots I will be taking at the destination.

Yesterday, girl will be having her exams soon and quite stress out about it since she has no break therefore she has to keep studying. Din go out much, just had lunch and some shopping for the groceries near her area. That was after my gym session. Raining heavily after meeting her, went to Taka to look around for sister's birthday cake. Finally found 1, that is from Bakerz Inn. A small yet delicate looking one.


Today, was a photo outing. Went to Little India for the shoot and was very fruitful.
Got to practice what we have learned.
Looking forward for the critique session tomorrow.
Yeah Yeah Yeah.
After that, went with lecturer and friends to Newton Circles Food Court for some dinner.
First time there though, first impression was not bad although the constant reports of the hawkers over charging the customers.
Had sugar cane juice and fried rice( oily, super oily)
Went home and then prepare for the torture week to begin.
