A busy Weekend

Weekend was a very busy one.
On Sat, in the morning went to Botanic Garden to attend a short class organized by my lecturer cum friend. Learned something about fill in flash and how to set the flash of the camera. Also did some macro shots and the difference in quality between an actual macro len and the attachment. Of course, there is a drop in quality but its a cheap version of having a macro len and getting the feel of doing macro shoots.

After that, immediately headed over to camera rental shop to rent the len for the wedding shoot which is held at Riz Carlton Hotel. Went over to fetch Iris before heading to the hotel and when I saw her in her attire I was stunted by her beauty. She was gorgeous and elegant looking.

Its is the wedding of my second god sis. I am so happy and with red eyes when I attended the wedding. It was a good and bad experience. Good experience being that I was able to practice my wedding shoots as to how to do the settings and compensate for the colour. Bad experience is for the slow serving of the food. Due to there are 72 tables and being the food is served to individual there is a big drop in the speed at which the food is served to us. Imagine the surrounding table are all having their second dish while we have yet seen the tail of the first dish. Even when the dish arrive, the number of items on the dish does not tally with what the dinner menu indicated and again it took them quite a while to change it.

Overall the atmosphere is quite quiet as compared to the rest of the wedding which I have attended. Well, the sight of my god sis getting married somehow compensate for that.
The whole dinner ended around 12mid night and by the time I send Iris back its already 12.30am and I reached home at around 1.20am.

Sunday I also went to Crowne Plaza hotel to assist my lecturer in his ROM shoot. There I learn more lesson as to how to adjust accordingly to the lighting, how to capture the essences of the wedding. How to pose the ppl.

Overall is a good experience and is making me to observe and change according to the circumstances. But still need more practice and opportunity to do so. So if any of you readers have the opportunity for me to practice my shots do let me know.

By the time i reached home, I was dead beat and after touching some pics and took a rest on the bed and without knowingly slept all the way to 7 plus without having any meal and went out upon hearing a knock on my door when i notice i have dozed off. Went out took a drink and went back to sleep till the morning which is another start of a terrible week

Is a great opportunity to learn from so many ppl ranging from my lecturers to my photography friends.
Thanks to all
Will upload pics at a later stage.
Take care
