New Toys

Well, some new toys which have came in today.
They are something which I have always wanted in a way.
Have been waiting for their arrival and today they came into my arms and be part of my family.
One of them was being taken away before I could even see her.

Wat are these new toys i am blabbering about.
Well here there are.

Weifeng tripod is an addition to my camera gear as it is a must for me as recommended by most of the ppl I asked. So here it is.

A4 Tech G7 Wireless Mouse

For the mouse is to be used in the office. I wanted to get this from the It show but it was sold out on the 2nd day. :(
I manage to find the shop that sells it and bought it.

Well, Saturday was actually a very hectic day for me since I had migraine on friday and even till now I still feel that my head is being banged and drilled non stop.
Saturday as usual went for my gym session which I really need as I was to busy for the week that I have not gone down to torture my body.(sound like SM) ha ha ha but this is a way for me to relax my body after a day of work.

Well, after the session, went back and taken my medication and it is supposedly to make me feel drowsy and things like that but I guess that the medication was not that strong enough for my body to take the effect of the medication. So I was still up and active beside the constant sore of my body due to the gym session which I have just have.

Soon it was time for me to head down to taka where the venue of the Shine event was. But by the time i was there there was not much cosplay for me to take except for the KuroBara girls. (Kuro bara was the japan phrase for black rose)
Well, it was said that the Kurobara was actually founded by a young gal and one of a cosplay house owner. They at first thought of just organising cosplay with the dolls which is quite common in Japan.
Then they had the copany set up and was quite well received by the youngster who are into cosplay at that period of time and soon it grew to a big fan group.

Soon the fashion show began and I was there crazy shooting and competing with the professionals there. There is also a world guiness record for the most number of bandanas within an enclosed place. (Gosh and I was part of it).


As the night slowly blanket the earth, the segment which most of the people who were mots interested in was the jpop band such as 异世界, saikosex, lemon, etc.
Well I do know 2 of the bands. The songs are nice and I did enjoy my day there.
Sometime i wonder if these is another way of relieving myself.

Today marks the end of my flea market career.
Seems like today was the most happening day for the Singapore River Fest, it is today that I saw the happenings of the river fest along the river/Clark Quay.
Artistics dudes giving out flyers and free barcadi mojito, i think cos i saw so many of the passerby has had one in their hand.(damn, how i wish I have one to try)
Well, today again ppl came and browse through but not a single one was sold. Was not depressed or sad though as least I know that the pics are good enought to be browsed through and was given the "Thumbs up" by some of the browsers.
Well, they maybe good to see but they aint good to be sold.

Just reached home and now is already 28 pass 12.
Read some of the few blogs by friends and was envy of the things and stuff they did. They are persuing their dream jobs like creating name card, logos and stuff. What about me? Well nothing much. The same old things. Sometimes wonder, am I not the type that will strive for the best?
Friends and their partners, friends all doing well, with their partners supporting them. Really envy them.

Seems like I have once again drifted away from the new friend which I found and whom I wish will be in contact like buddies for a long time.
Well, i think will soon be back into my small little universe.

River Fest

Yesterday collected the postcards which I have done for the flea market located at Timbre, Singapore River Fest.
The postcards turn out quite well, and the moment I received the cards, I was so happy. At that moment, I was like deceiving myself, heart thinking"Woah my pics are on a postcard". Thick skin rite?
But anyway, went down to the "booth" and saw the girls on my left have already sold 3 bags and left with 1 on the display table. Woah, seeing the spending power of women, (no offense to the ladies out there).

Well, started to set up the booth by spreading the postcards onto the table. Placed them in such a messy way but noticeable. Well, there are some patrons but none that bought the postcards. They were admiring them and then showed the "thumbs up". At that moment, I was delighted that people thinks that the pics are good, disappointed as there was none that purchase a single one. Got to know the event photographer who was there shooting the event, he was in the industry for 4 yrs. 4 Yrs! woah he must have lots of better pics then me. But according to him, most of his shots were for church and he just started to shoot event recently. God Bless him.
He too thinks that the shots that I did was nice. Even high, :) :)

On and off there were patrons that visit and admire the pics. Mostly, foreigners and some locals. With the current increase with ppl going into photography, I guess that there are more and more ppl who can take better pics then me since children whom i think as young as Sec 1 has already started to get in touch with DSLR.

Well, yesterday nite was quite enjoyable, maybe because of the music that is being played, the 80s. I think I must be from that era. Ha ha ha ha. The girls on my right has ended their sales and was taken over by the organising committe. They are selling cds. For those who are CDs fanantics do pop over to browse through, who knows you may find the one that you have been searching for or the one that you have always wanted but could not get hold of them at that time.

Now back to the girls on my left. bad of me but I overheard their conversation as they have earn some profit so they asked for the "Menu". They ordered cocktails and lastly they ordered beer. As vendors there will have 15% discount over the bill, so thats why quite a number of the vendors ordered food and booze. Well, not for me though. But the fragrance from the pizzas, finger foods was floating through the air and in the direction of 'ME'. And the worse thing, is that I have yet taken any dinner and it was like 9 plus. Its was really tempting but actually no mood to eat but just to enjoy the aroma from the thin crisp pizza.

Soon, the time arrive and packed up and left for the day.
Well, another day will begin again
