Mid Of Week
As u have notice the above image, this is the image which I thought of using for the entry for a headphone design competition. This is for the sticker on both side of the headphone. Shown this to my lecturer and he indicated to me just to use the Camo design with the motiff. And so I did, having uploaded the final image to the competition I find that I dun have much hope in being the lucky 48 to be selected for winning. Well, its an experience though. I will still try to complete this current image hopefully with the correct feel that I wan to portray.
You must be surprise as to why is this dude blogging in the mid of the week when he usually blogs only on Sunday although he also seldoms keep tat routine though.
Well, reason for blogging today is that been very boring in work and feel like updating tats all.
Time for nagging.
Week has been not bad, activities such as Macro Shoot on Sat was fantastic as I was brought into the world of the insects, flowers, etc by a group of wonderful friends which I got to know by chance. A very happening group of people from all ages and industries. Sat was also fantastic as that was when I got to go out with Iris. But seems like Singapore is truely too small as one can cover the places quickly in 1 day. Going back to the places over again seems quite boring as the stuffs are the same, prices are the same. Nothing interesting. Sometimes wonder how come the youngsters nowadays can go back to this same of road going through the same stuffs again. Well, maybe thats the thrill of it, browsing over and over again.
Having said that, maybe I just dun like to stay at home or perhaps I just wan to go out and do the things they do; browsing over and over again. Watching movie seems very popular, I do wan to watch but drag and drag till the thought of watching the movie subsides. Watched 2 movies with her and tats it. Nothing else, ha ha ha.
Now that the design for the headphone is submitted and no chances of winning; its time for me to get down to business. The business of doing my portfolio. Yes, PORTFOLIO. As I have completed my course, I am required to produce a portfolio in order to graduate. But looking back at my stuffs, I find that I do not have enough stuff for the portfolio and also that the standards of the works back then seems quite low. Therefore have to think of way to add more things in for my lecturer to select. Guess will be quite busy.
Although will be busy but looking forward for this coming Saturday as it is the Xtreme Games Event happening at East Coast Park; Inline Skate, Skateboarding, Bike, volleyball, etc. A chance for me to practice my Panning Technique which I sucks in well, I sucks in many things. Ha ha ha
Now time to drift to another topic. The topic of friend gathering.
Yesterday was a small gathering with my secondary schoolmates cum birthday celebration for a very special gal, "Whale" Jas. The celebration was an early one for her as her birthday falls on the 1St of Sept 09. Well, there are Xiaoti aka Nick You(Yew) or Unique( Yew Nick), Joyce aka teacher and her husband to be. Well, as usual I am the one listening to them talking while Nick was creating the atmosphere of fun and laughter and lame jokes. Were discussing on the name of his god son which is also the little one inside "Whale" Jas tummy, ops forgot to mention Jas is pregeant. The name that jas initially selected and now KIV was Jaen, quite unique I must agree. Well, the teasing of the name for the boy goes on from name of Jas boy to the future name of Nicks children. Names such as: F Yew, Hate Yew, Slap Yew, etc all came out. Very hilarious and funny, then the present of a cook book for babies, a photo ablum and a cake from Baker's Inn was presented to the birthday girl.
After walking around in cold storage, we departed heading in different directions.
Was a enjoyable day.
And after that day is back to the working day although yesterday and the day before was already the working day.
Ok then.
I will end here with a ........

Design Out.
Design for the Sennheiser HD 418 is out and I have till next week to finalise and submit it.
Colour wise still unsure.
Should I combine both or will it be an over kill?

Just send resume to 2 company which is on the local On Job Training Scheme by EDB Singapore.
Hope that I maybe shortlisted for an interview in either one of them.

A day to remember
In the morning, was still downloading the drama tat she wanted as well as waiting for the limited edition toy from Deviant Art. Is a plush toy which I assume she would like it.
Yesterday went to Tiffany & Co to look for a ring which she saw it and liked it. Actually she saw 2 rings 1 from Tiffany & Co while the other was at Swarovski. Prices was around the same just that the name of Tiffany & Co is more appealing to her that the other. Well, went to the shop and found the ring. Choosing the size is quite a tedious thing though but finally settled on the size and bought it.
Back to today, waiting for the plush toy to arrive which finally did at around 11plus. Accepted the parcel, bathed, a light lunch and went out to Far East Flora. Gone there to collect flowers for her which I have made an order yesterday online.
Collected the flowers and went on to meet her for a movie at Cathay.
Went to watch "Where Got Ghost" by Jack Neo. It was a very hilarious and funny movie to watch. There was a scene which was taken during the NG session. In chinese there is a saying 不要逞强 or in hokkien "Ge Qiang" but the indian guy keep saying "Qiang Gen" which made everyone in the theater laugh non stop and I then release why the movie eneded quite late.
Well, after that we went down to Vivo City to the Pet Shop to look at some cute puppies which include, Chow Chow, Chihuhua, Shih tzu, Pug. Was so cute and was quite hesitant to move but still went on as the time was around 6 plus.
Brought her for a cable car ride to Mount Faber where the Jewel Box was. The scenery there was superb but sad that i did not bring my gear there. Finally we settled dinner at Opal located at the Jewel Box. Ordered the set dinner, and I went to ask the captain if they have any form of cake for birthday, he said there is none but most ppl will order the Jewel Peak, Jewel Peak it is.
Throughout the 4 course meal, we chatted and laughed. When the Jewel Peak came, it was lighted with a candle and the captain personally brought it to our table and wished girl a Happy Birthday. After the wonderful and delicious meal at the superb atmospheric resturant Opal, we took the cable car ride back to Vivo City where I send her back home.
Was really a wonderful time spend with her. This is totally different during the first birthday tat I celebrated for her back in Australia,remember that I brought her to eat Fish and Chip Australia style and then followed by a chocolate cake with sparkles as a candle.
Well, I hope that she enjoyed today's celebration of her birthday and hope tat there will be more chances of celebrating her birthday together.

Dishearted
Well, Happy belated Birthday to Singapore.
Sunday was the 44th birthday of Singapore and I am glad that I was there to witness the parade with a group of friends whom I really got to know abit closer as I know them through some photography course, clubs, events.
A fun and interesting group with all sorts of talents but with one thing in common that is the passion for photography.
Well, I think that I should keep my comments to myself as other might think that I am a two faced guy. Not knowing when I am telling the truth or telling a lie. Sometimes, I figured that I maybe like wat a friend once told me is that I like to attract attention from others tats why I am the way I am.
Well, maybe my friend who say I am a 2 faced person is true. One side i say this and that while the next moment when facing another i say a different thing which contradicts with wat i previously did.
Sad to find that I am a 2 faced person. But in the past I have already been putting a mask when i go out. At home, I am one type while outside i am another. I find it so tiring during the secondary times till army. Through then I developed depression and always tweet wat ppl say. From the good to the bad. Well, recently I know tat I am the same person be it at home or outside. But I find that the real me is still in the internet where I can speak freely and express.
Last sat, went otu with girl to meet a secondary friend. Chat alot of things from the wedding pics of a friend to the part of giving birth and that there is actually a formula in achieving a baby boy or girl. How cool is tat.
After that around 3 plus, we departed and went down to Orchard to visit the newly opened shopping malls just to find that it is the same with the fact that the malls have clearly been classified in to the high end, mid end and the low end.
Really seems like singapore has more high end spenders from the sight that even secondary students are already capable of getting the branded stuff. How can this be true when they say that the economy has yet recovered?
Well, I have to started to talk less and talk when needed again.
Funny to think that this has happen to me while my studies in Aus, but tat time was that ppl say that I have attitude problem and they boycotted me.
Should not bring up the past, should not be gloomy.
A smile must be shown a friend once told me so that I may once again get back the feel of smiling.
Well, hope that I can do better.

Something I m troubled
Well, hi all.
You must be thinking why am I blogging on a weekday since I use to be blogging during the last day of the week.
Well, is just that something has been really bothering me and dun wish to bottle it within me as I am afraid that something will go wrong with me like what I did during the army days.
Well, back to this things that is very very confusing and troubling me.
"I" is back from the holiday. Somehow I feel that there is a distance between us, but I am just sure cos that feeling only comes when she and I are talking on MSN or smsing. When we are face to face talking, everything is just like friends and not like in a relationship.
Before she came back, she indicated to me why must she come back. I know that this means that she will go back no matter wat. Friends told me that they dun think that this relationship will last since that she will go back no matter what. I know that "I" wans me to go over there but finding job over there is not as easy as there is more of the IT based company. Beside, "I" can easily find a job with a word from the father.
Should this relationship end before it is too late?
I remember once in Aus when "I" and I was quarrling, she told me that once we break up there is not even a chance of being friends. There will be no communication between us. I wonder if she has ever loved me?
Wat you think? My friend told me that this could be just a feeling that we have while in Aus and continued over here. Once she is back in her country, she may find someone and since we are in 2 diff country, who knows.
Oh dear readers, what do you advise me?
I am afraid that this is a one sided relationship. But she is a gal that once she is in a relationship she will not betray, tats what her friend say.

Another ............
Time really pass by so quickly and now we have welcome the month of August.
Wat is happening in August? Well, is the same thing tat we will celebrate every year which the birthday of Singapore.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE"
A sad thing to note is that the fireworks each year is more or less similar. I wonder issit due to the lack of space in singapore to introduce more spectacular pyrotechnics. Well, having said this I for one has been going down to snap pics of the fireworks every sat. Got to know some friends and also see old friends whom we went to snap models once on an outing. Singapore is really really small as you all should have known.
Recently have been poisoned once again by Macro once by the gang. Once the macro shot of water droplet has already fascinated me into the realm of Macro, this time round is the macro of creepy crawlers. But is through this outing that i got to know more friends and more sharing sessions.
Having known these group of friends really brighten me up. Jokes, outing, sharing, comments on how to take better pics.
Well, tomorrow is a birthday of a friend whom I know erm not long.
I wish him a Happy Birthday and hope his dreams of further studies, more design work will come true. Most of all is that he and his cute girl will be together always.
Today is also the day that L returned from her holidays.
Sad to hear her say that she did not want to come back since she is comfortable back in her own country. Guess this more or less signify something for me.
